MISSION STATEMENT

“From Lens to Canvas: The Artistic Journey of Alexander Koning”
In his studio in the heart of Amsterdam Alexander Koning has spent 25 years crafting visual stories through multiple media. As a professional videographer for Dutch broadcasters, his camera has captured compelling narratives in over 50 countries, including the acclaimed documentary series like “De Zorgkoningin” and “De Villamoord.”
But beyond the lens lies a deeper story of artistic transformation.
Through The Poetic Pirates Society, Alexander’s digital alter ego, he explores the intersection of traditional art, Web3 and artificial intelligence. His AI-generated artwork merges contemporary technology with raw emotional expression, creating unique pieces that speak to both collectors and healing seekers alike.
The Alchemist’s Journey
At the core of Alexander’s work lies his work as a journalistic cameraman. Merging the vast array of stories he filmed worldwide together with his journey to remain sane in a world that has proven to be ruthless. Translating this into painting and writing, Alexander’s current work in progress is called: “The Alchemist Cookbook,” a shadow work guide that combines Jungian psychology with AI-generated art. This workbook offers readers a unique approach to emotional healing through creative expression, complete with guided prompts, Spotify playlists, and meditative exercises.
